Ommwriter is like WriteRoom, but much prettier (and sounds awesome). If you’re not familiar with either of these products, basically they are distraction-free word processors. They are full screen so you aren’t interrupted by your inbox, IM, etc.
Ommwriter is free, currently only available for the Mac, and in beta.

For those interested, I went back to WriteRoom. Although prettier, the added features of Ommwriter are superfluous and it’s lacking some basic features (and keyboard shortcuts) needed to get actual work done. Cheers to WriteRoom!
